Alayna is a dedicated and results-driven professional who brings extensive organizational and communications skills to her role at MD Energy Advisors by providing direct customer outreach for Pepco’s Energy Savings Program for Small Businesses.

Alayna sources energy efficiency opportunities through an outbound sales approach in Pepco’s service territory of Prince George’s County, Maryland. She qualifies opportunities, markets to potential clients, and builds relationships with stakeholders and across business sectors.

Alayna began her career in the AmeriCorps Service as a community & resource coordinator. Prior to joining MDEA, Alayna held several roles within the K-12 education sector, including as an elementary school teacher and as a financial education coordinator. Most recently, she was the program coordinator for the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum.

Alayna earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Savannah State University in Georgia. She also earned a Credential for Strengths-Based Family Workers from Temple University. Alayna is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), currently persuing her PMP from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
