Ed brings over 20 years of multi-sector experience addressing issues of sustainability, resiliency, technology and innovation, energy management, energy efficiency and conservation, and renewable energy to MD Energy Advisors. In his role he is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities. 

Ed uses his deep understanding of energy products, services and client relationship management.to develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company's market presence. In addition to building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects, he collaborates with the sales team and other departments to tailor solutions and proposals to meet client needs. 

Ed began his career as an energy analyst, conducting day-to-day support activities for several U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Programs. He has since flourished in the sector, progressing in seniority at industry-leading companies, while also publishing articles and becoming a notable speaker on energy related topics. 

Ed is a Certified Energy Manager CEM® and an individual member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Energy, Environmental, and Mineral Economics from Pennsylvania State University.
